3DAYS/2NIGHTS-QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

- Launch Cruise on Kazinga Channel.
Day 1:
Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala through Mubende to Fortportal. You will have a combination of wonderful views of beautiful hills, valleys, extensive savannah vegetations. Stopover in Fort portal for lunch and after, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Kasese following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range reaching late afternoon. Game viewing is an opportunity to seeing “the Big Five” i.e. the elephants, lions, hippopotamus, buffaloes, leopards and hyenas among others.
In the afternoon, go sightseeing in the crater regions- it is a marvel! Visit the Katwe Salt works for a glimpse into traditional salt mining.
Dinner & Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Jacana Safari Lodge
Day 2:
Early Morning, meet with your game ranger for a short brief and then go for a game drive. It is an excellent opportunity to view variety of wildlife early morning. You will be able to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa water bucks, the Uganda Kobs, Topis and Bushbucks etc. Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast/lunch and relax. In the afternoon, go for launch cruise on the Kazinga channel and into Lake Edward. The trip continues through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos, Crocodiles and many other animals may be seen drinking at the water edge. The launch cruise is also an excellent platform for photography, birding and game viewing. It’s an ideal place for Uganda’s most valuable safari. Return to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at white house hotel in Kasese / Mweya safari lodge / Jacana safari lodge
Day 3:
Early morning after breakfast, go for Nature walks in the Maramagambo forest before embarking on your return journey to Kampala. You will lookout for pythons, bats, primates, forest birds etc. There will be a brief stop at the Equator for photography. Thereafter, proceed to Kampala arriving late evening. Our driver will then drop you off home.
