Day 1:
At 8:30am, depart Kampala on one of our 8-seater customized safari minibuses. Take lunch in Masindi before heading into the park. Proceed to the Red Chilli Rest Camp for sundowners and a meal before settling in for the night.
Day 2:
At 6:30am depart Red Chilli Rest Camp in your minibus and cross the Nile for a 4hour game drive around the Nile Delta area of the park. This is where the most big game gathers and where there are spectacular views across Lake Albert towards the Blue Mountains of the Congo and northern Uganda. There is a very high chance of seeing lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes as well as many types of antelopes and varied bird life. You might even get lucky and spot a leopard. Head back to Red Chilli for a relaxing lunch/have your parked lunch.
Depart at 1:45pm for a 3hour afternoon boat launch trip upstream towards the base of Murchison Falls. Hippos, huge Nile crocodiles, more buffalos, antelopes and fantastically varied bird life abound. You might also see elephants drinking at the water’s edge. Enjoy our hospitality and sit around the campfire.

Day 3
At 8:00am depart to Pabidi for a guided nature walk in the forest. You will associate with many different tree species and primates like Chimps and the golden Monkeys. Spend the half day at Budongo Forest. Return to red Chilli Camp.

Day 4:
At 8:00am depart to the top of the fall for a guided walk around the cliffs and right up to the edge of the fall themselves. Stop in Masindi for a leisurely lunch and continue to Fort Portal arriving late evening.

Day 5:
Take early morning breakfast then go Chimpanzee trekking in the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Kibale. The trekking is demanding but a rewarding experience. Have enough water and packed lunch. The time spent in the forest will depend on the movements of the Chimpanzees in their natural environments. The trekking may take about 5hrs so a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes (sit in the forest among the Chimpanzees, listening to them whistle to each other and marvel at sheer size of the dominant male).

Day 6:
Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park through Kasese, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range arriving late evening. Game viewing is one opportunity to seeing “the Big Five” i.e. the elephants, lions, hippopotamus, buffaloes and leopards or hyenas among others.

Day 7:
Have early morning breakfast and drive to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Normally it takes about 3hrs.
In the afternoon, go sightseeing in the crater regions- it is a marvel! Visit the katwe salt works for a glimpse into traditional salt mining.
Dinner & Overnight at Ishasha Lodge (Banda) / Institute of ecology (FB)
Day 8:
After breakfast, go for a game drive. It is an excellent opportunity to view variety of wildlife early morning. You will be able to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa waterbucks, the Uganda Kobs, Topis and Bushbucks etc. Return to the lodge/camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, go for launch cruise on the Kazinga channel and into Lake Edward. The trip continues through the highest concentration of Hippos, Crocodiles and many other animals may be seen drinking at the water edge. The launch cruise is also an excellent platform for photography, birding and game viewing. It’s an ideal place for Uganda’s most valuable safari. Return to the lodge thereafter.

Day 9:
After breakfast, you will take a Nature walk through Kyambura Gorge. Look out for Chimpanzees, birds, some snakes, bats etc. Have lunch later and relax at the Lodge for the Rest of the evening.

Day 10:
Depart for Lake Mburo National Park. It takes about 4-5hrs to reach the park late afternoon. Lake Mburo National Park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland and other ungulates. Bird watching is a good opportunity for birders as it is one of the best places for African fin foot and papyrus bush strike. You will check in then go for late afternoon canoeing on the Lake its self. You will be able to view a variety of wildlife such as Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and Birds like the Pelicans, Black Crake, the Heron and Fish Eagle. Also you may see the rare Shoebill stork. After, return back to your camp for an overnight.
Dinner & Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Basic Rwonyo Camps (FB)
Day 11:
Have an early breakfast then go for your Game drive. The drive will take you for about 3-4hrs where you will be exposed to an Impala track leading you to a diverse species of animals. Impala is the most common species viewed along this track however there are other animals view alongside it like the waterbuck, Warthogs, Topis and Zebras. In the afternoon do a boat ride and return to the lodge to rest.
Dinner & Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/ Basic Rwonyo Camps (FB)
Day 12:
Depart for Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Royal Drum makers and the Equator, thereby taking photo shots. Thereafter you will proceed to reach midafternoon. Have Lunch in Kampala. After lunch, continue to Jinja.
Dinner & overnight at 2 friends Guest House (FB)
Day 13:
After morning breakfast, drive to the source of the Nile for scenic viewing as well as boat ride. Return at 14:00pm for Lunch. In the afternoon, go to the Bujagali Falls for white water rafting or Bungee jumping.

Day 14:
Drive to Entebbe through Kampala for your outbound flight back home.
