Day 1: Entebbe
Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, and together you’ll drive to Entebbe. Explore bird-rich areas around Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake, searching for gems like the Blue Monarch, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, and Fain-tailed Widow bird. Later, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center, home to over 250 bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, head to Mpanga Forest, a haven for birds like the African Pied Hornbill, African Grey Parrot, and Great Blue Turaco. Continue to Lake Nabugabo, spotting water birds such as Herons. Lunch is followed by a drive to Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll stay at Rwonyo Camp/Mantana Luxury Tented camp.
Day 3: Lake Mburo – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, encountering a variety of birds in the savannah grassland. The park is rich in water, woodland, and grassland birds. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo, spotting wetland birds and hippos. After lunch, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, with an evening game drive before reaching your lodgings at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Lodge.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early morning game drive reveals more bird species, including the Saddle-billed Stork and African Harrier-Hawk. Later, a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel offers sightings of hippos, migratory birds, and waterfowl. Return to Jacana Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Game Drive and Birding Transfer to Fort Portal
Start the day with a morning game drive, observing wild and birdlife. After lunch, drive to Fort Portal, stopping to enjoy the scenic Crater Lakes region. Check into Ndali Lodge/Crater Valley Kibale for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Bigodi Wetlands
