Day 1: Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative from Kagera Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe.

Day 2: Journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, your driver guide will transport you to Kisoro in Uganda, located at the base of the Virunga Volcanoes. Enjoy the scenic drive with winding roads and breathtaking views of the Volcanoes. Alternatively, there’s an option for a flight from Entebbe to Kisoro airfield.
Drive time: 9 hours OR Scheduled Flight: 1 hour 50 minutes

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is home to mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. After breakfast, your driver guide will take you to the park’s briefing point. Following instructions from a ranger guide, you will embark on a thrilling gorilla trek. Depending on the gorillas’ location, a short drive may be required before commencing the trek. Upon sighting the gorillas, you will spend up to 1 hour observing them before returning to the lodge.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the briefing point for golden monkey trekking. Following instructions from a ranger guide, you will embark on the hike through Mgahinga National Park in search of golden monkeys. These agile creatures move swiftly, primarily feeding on bamboo shoots. Enjoy observing them in their natural habitat for 1 hour before descending back to the starting point.

Day 5: Walk in the Footsteps of the Batwa
Today, learn about the Batwa tribe’s traditional way of life as you embark on a journey through the forest with Batwa guides. Gain insight into their culture and dependence on the forest for livelihood.

Day 6: Hike Sabyinyo, Muhabura, or Gahinga Volcanoes
Choose from a range of volcanic hikes, each offering a unique experience. Options include Mt. Gahinga, Mt. Muhabura, and Mt. Sabyinyo, with varying difficulty levels and stunning views.

Day 7: Departure
